EOS is excited to be a part of the newly opened expansion at Sentara Healthcare Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia! At the recent opening celebration of the new patient towers, Sentara leadership and Norfolk Mayor Kenneth Alexander spoke about the importance of the facility to the health and wellbeing of the city, both from a medical and economic perspective. As a Norfolk-based small business, EOS Surfaces is proud to be a part of such a vital part of our city.
Our copper-impregnated surfaces, clinically proven to reduce hospital-associated infections at the Sentara Leigh campus in the world’s largest known clinical trial of copper in healthcare, are now considered Standard of Care throughout the Sentara system. Over the next few months, a number of new facilities throughout the state and North Carolina will have been updated with EOScu countertops, bed rails, sinks, and workstations. We look forward to continuing to play a role in keeping our communities healthy.
